Assistant Manager/Engineer

Cass Rural Water District is seeking applications for an Assistant Manager/Engineer. This position has direct assistance with the General Manager and indirect supervisory responsibility for Chief System Operator and field staff members, so the water system operates in a safe and efficient manner. Job duties are as follows: operate and maintain Scada system, develop and maintain filing system, consultation with the Chief System Operator on hiring and training, administer ND one-call program, assist with annual budget, assist with annual insurance renewal, respond to member concerns, attend monthly/annual board meetings, attend meetings with developers, engineers, contractors, work with ND State Health Department on paperwork, prepare job plan set, prepare and obtain easements, work on SRF loan documents, work on lead and copper regulations, maintain as built drawings, assumes the responsibilities of GM in his or her absence. This position will have some night and weekend work. Cass Rural Water provides a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, clothing and boot allowance, LTD, life + retirement. District provided vehicle for business use. Salary DOE from $90,000 to $120,000. Application deadline is July 31st.
